ABOUT THE ARTIST

AND HIS WORK

Paul Guilbeault
 

 

Paul has been a long time resident of the Windsor Lakeshore area.
Paul Guilbeault is a  Craftsman and designer He explores a diverse array of materials and patterns with a variety of woods and colored Materials.
The ability to harvest a tree at the end of its life cycle and transform it into something useful to mankind is something he takes tremendous pride in. 

He has been working with wood for over 30 years as a wood carver and turner,

selling his art at local artist shows in the southern Ontario area and has shown his work in Tucson Arizona.

He has demonstrated both wood turning and carving in the past in both Canada and the United States.

Pictured items are examples only, actual items will vary. All wood is different in grain and color. The details of each piece will vary, and wood can have cracks and voids, etc which is normal.  Knots and bug holes found in any given piece of wood are not defects but some of Mother Nature’s work and her unique signature.

All  wood art is one of a kind and cannot be mass produced.

Each piece of wood will play a large part in what it will become in it's final form. All bowls have a food safe finish, but consider that these pieces are designed as table art  and  wood can react with moisture.

I recommend that most of these pieces be used with only dry food unless otherwise noted.
